The Soul Shadows is a group of professionals from all walks of life that takes pride in celebrating your
special memories, no matter what size event or occasion. The band consists of a male and female vocalist,
trumpet, saxophone, guitar, piano, electric & upright bass and drums. Each musician has a substantial resume
that includes performances at such venues as The Greek Theater, Starlight Bowl, Coach House, Galaxy and House of Blues,
along with numerous hotels, clubs and community fairs across the country.
You won’t find us offering an “added” horn section or vocalist. Instead, you will get the consistency,
chemistry, and collective experience of the same 8 musicians who perform together more than 40 weeks out of every year. We look forward to providing you with the best music

David is the founder and leader of The Soul Shadows. David has over 15 years of experience as a local
musician and arranger and has previously been a member of as many as 7 bands simutaneously. As a professional
sound engineer working at events for high profile companies like Google and Paramount
Pictures, David knows the value of exceptional customer service and knows how to maintain a balanced mix at an
appropriate volume.

Andy is often our MC for weddings, and coordinates the grand entrance and wedding details with the bride
and groom. Andy made a living in his early years winning karaoke contests up and down the west coast. Recent
achievements include singing with Chicago at the Greek Theater.

Wendy shares MC duties and is our other lead singer. Wendy's theatrical background is evident in her
choreography and expression while on stage. She holds a master’s degree in communication and she was a featured performer
in the bi-annual Rock 'n' Roll shows at Chapman University.

Jim is a graduate of the acclaimed jazz program at North Texas University. Since moving to Southern
California, Jim has enjoyed helping coordinate the music and entertainment for some of the biggest events
in the area, including Taste of Orange County, Orange International Street Fair, and musician’s union annual
‘bash’ in Newport Beach.

Chris has over 30 years of experience as an accomplished guitar player in rock, blues, and r&b. Recent
highlights include performing with members of the classic 70’s horn band, Tower of Power.

Joe comes from a jazz background and can often be seen performing with his twin sister Joyce-Marie at L.A.
hotspot Spazio. Through the years, Joe has had the opportunity to play keyboard with some of the top LA Jazz scene
musicians including Shorty Rogers, Monty Budwig, James Moody, and others.

Dennis plays a wide range of basses to go with his background in a wide range of styles. As an L.A. player,
he has enjoyed headlining at the House of Blues, B.B. Kings, and the Catalina Island Blues Festival.

Alton is our Hawaiian cowboy, having grown up in the islands and attaining his degree in music there. He later
joined country artist Mac Davis and toured extensively throughout the country playing everything from big band
to classic rock.
